Ripley Fire responds to a structure fire on King Heights Drive in Evans.  When the first units arrived the home was fully involved station 10 Cottageville fire was also dispatched but with units already on the scene of a child hit by a car in Millwood a third alarm was requested and station 70 Southern Jackson was dispatched.  The home was a total loss with the family losing everything, the American Red Cross was contacted to assist the family.  One fire fighter had to be treated for heat exhaustion.
